It's been a while since we've seen more of the world of TRON. Yes, the 2016 theme park ride recently opened in Orlando, and we've had some updates regarding TRON: Ares, but in terms of exploring the universe in videogame format - we last had that with TRON RUN/r. Well, good news everyone, TRON: Identity has launched.
A visual novel set after the events of TRON: Legacy, players take on the role as detective program who has been tasked with uncovering details of a break-in at The Repository, a building of great importance in the New Grid. Available now on PC and Nintendo Switch, the game features a moody atmosphere and offers a branching narrative where player choice affects how the story unfolds. I have enjoyed the little I have played so far and am excited to see how the story will progress based on my decisions. Check out the launch trailer below:
